The app can't find my headphones.
They need to be powered on, charged, and within Bluetooth range — roughly one or two rooms away.
A closed charging case usually stops earbuds broadcasting, so open the lid.
Walls and furniture reduce range, so try scanning from the next room.
Why doesn't it show me which direction to walk?
Bluetooth headphones have no ultra-wideband chip, so no app can point an arrow at them — including Apple's own Find My.
Headphone Finder shows signal strength instead: walk around and watch it get warmer or colder.
The radar says there's no signal from my headphones.
Some headphones only use classic Bluetooth, which iPhones cannot measure signal strength from. The app can still tell you whether they are in range.
I'm not getting left-behind alerts.
Check the subscription is active and notifications are allowed for Headphone Finder in iOS Settings.
Alerts wait 90 seconds before firing, so that putting earbuds in their case doesn't trigger one.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Headphone Finder. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I get a refund?
All payments are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot process refunds ourselves.
I paid but the radar is locked.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases.
